It took moving heaven and earth, or so it seemed, but a venue has been
secured for my campaign event. A cozy winter night pot-luck party I am
going to call "Penny for Pete".

I know things are tight. I haven't the heart to set a minimum donation.
Just bring a covered dish or hot or cold beverages to share and a sum of
money between a penny and $200 that you would *consider* donating to
help me win election as your District 3 City Commissioner. We will all
trust Providence to insure that what is finally donated will be enough.

"Penny for Pete" will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 6:30 PM to
10 PM at the Bayfront Community Center, behind and attached to the
Municipal Auditorium, 803 North Trail - the place Ringling School of Art
and Design wanted for a buck as a "sound stage".
